Casa 17

The house is located in Acacias, a neighbourhood very close to Atocha train station in Madrid. This area of the city was originally linked to the railroad industry and was finally integrated into the southern expansion of the capital (Castro Plan, 2nd half of the 19th century).

The project consists of the interior renovation of a 75 m² house. To this end, a series of strategies are carried out that seek to renovate the property by highlighting the identity of the 1927 building in which it is located. The house had undergone several renovations over the last century that had completely blurred the perception of the original space.
